Tags were cool when they first came out. They were easy to use and allowed for quick lists and a flexible
categorization system. But as they became popular, people realized how messy they can be and how meaningless that makes them.
What's so hard about making meaningful tags? Maintenance and standards. The very things that get in the way of quick, easy tags.
Are do they? Del.icio.us and its tag bundles are a step
in the right direction to organizing tags but there is more to be done ...
I hope to offer features for better tagging in hopes that our user community will use them and push their boundaries.
